These terms cover buying the digital books Operator After 40 and Elite: A Field Guide to the World's Special Forces, alone or together as a bundle, from Old Man Cadre, run by Djordje, Slovenia ("we"). In these terms, "the book" means whichever book or books you bought. By buying, you agree to them.
Who handles the payment
Orders are processed by Stripe through its Link service, which acts as the merchant of record. It takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt. Its own buyer terms also apply to the payment. You get the download right after payment.
What you get
- A PDF of the book, available right after payment and in your email receipt. The bundle gives you both PDFs.
- Nothing is shipped. There is no subscription and no further charge.
- The price shown at checkout, in US dollars unless the checkout shows otherwise.
How you may use it
- The book is for your own personal use. You may keep copies on your own devices and print it for yourself.
- You may not share, resell, upload or publish the file or its contents, in whole or in part.
Refunds
If you are not happy with the book, write to support@oldmancadre.com within 7 days of buying, with the email address you used at checkout, and we will refund you in full. If the download does not work, write to us and we will fix it or refund you.
Health and safety
Operator After 40 is a training and lifestyle guide. It is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor. Talk to your doctor before starting any exercise program, especially if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, diabetes, an injury or ongoing pain. You train at your own risk, and you should stop and get help if something hurts or feels wrong.
About the book
Operator After 40 is told by Cadre Walsh, the Old Man of the Old Man Cadre channel. Stories and facts about real people, units and operations in both books come from published sources listed in each book. These are independent publications and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any military, government, unit or former operator.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the book is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
