This page explains what happens to your information when you visit this site, sign up for the free sample or buy Operator After 40. The site is Old Man Cadre, run by Djordje, Slovenia ("we").
Visiting the site
- We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or our own cookies.
- Our hosting provider, Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages), keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and running the site.
- The page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers. See Google's privacy policy for how it handles that request.
Buying the book
Payment happens on Stripe's checkout (sold through Link), not on this site. Stripe collects your email, billing country and payment details to process the order and charge tax. Its privacy policy applies to that information. We never see your full card details.
Stripe shares your email, country and order details with us so we can answer support questions and handle refunds. We use them only for that, and we do not sell them or add you to a mailing list without asking.
The free sample and our emails
If you sign up for the free sample, we collect only your email address. We use it to send you the free PDF, a few short emails about training after 40 from the Old Man Cadre channel, and news such as a new book. Every email is from us; we never sell or share the list.
- Kit (kit.com, based in the United States) keeps the list and sends the emails. It handles your address on our behalf under its data processing terms, and its privacy policy applies to that service.
- You first get an email asking you to confirm your address. Nothing else is sent until you confirm.
- Kit records when our emails are opened and which links are clicked, so we can see what is useful.
- The legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email, or by writing to us. After you unsubscribe we keep only what is needed to make sure you are not emailed again.
Writing to us
If you email us, we keep the message and your address to answer you and to keep a record of refunds.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to support@oldmancadre.com. If you live in the EU, UK or a similar jurisdiction, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date.
